As the #1 beer in the U.S., Michelob Ultra needed a system that matched its scale. We partnered with Anheuser-Busch to sharpen its identity and unify how it shows up everywhere.
Built on a tension between modern and classic, the system comes to life through a refined wordmark, custom typeface, and refreshed palette.
Kraft Mac & Cheese

By embracing the positive power of comfort food, we designed an iconic brand that literally smiles back at you.
In collaboration with the KMC team, we renamed the product to the more familiar “Mac & Cheese” and created Blue Box Sans, a new typeface inspired by the rounded shapes of macaroni. The redesigned brandmark centers on the KMC smile, our most iconic asset.
Lunchables

To reinvent Lunchables, we partnered with Kraft Heinz to refresh the brand and packaging. Inspired by kids as builders, ingredients become playful stacks with miniature characters interacting with the food.
Packaging features imaginative worlds from seabeds to outer space drawn from children’s creativity.

To refresh the CapriSun brand we created an identity system that seeks to unleash kids’ independence. We updated all aspects of the brand; brandmark, colors and photography.
Additionally, we created splash illustrations to add an element of fun and refreshment.

In partnership with the Pearson team we created an illustrious brand direction for their new subbrand that leverages an inclusive illustration system.

Hypergiant Industries' Ben Lamm tasked Maven with creating his vision book. Collaborating closely, our designers and writers worked with Ben to transform his concept into a 123-page marvel.
This took a comprehensive process involving copy development, layout design, creating diagrams and illustrations, and overseeing print production.
Off-hour activities include walks in the park, reading sci-fi novels, and watching horror movies. He's also involved in the games media space and covers various titles on his YouTube channel.
